recommendsI honestly don’t think I can fully put into words how highly I recommend Natalie for support. After trying to navigate... the world of dog training ourselves and unfortunately getting it wrong, we found her, and it has completely changed our lives.
Not only has she supported us, but she has truly supported our dogs. She has helped us understand them on a much deeper level. In a world full of conflicting advice, Natalie provides clear, consistent guidance that leads to real, long term progress.
We have a dog who was reactive both inside and outside the home. She could be aggressive and unpredictable. After a gait analysis, we discovered she was experiencing pain, and Natalie supported us every step of the way working alongside our vets and even communicating with them to ensure they fully understood our dog and her needs. When behaviours persisted, she encouraged us to revisit the vets and helped us advocate for better pain management.
Previously, we couldn’t have guests over because our dog would actively seek them out and bite. Now, with a better understanding of her emotions and needs, this behaviour has been significantly reduced. We also struggled to groom our double coated breed, which was becoming a serious issue. Natalie introduced us to consent based grooming, and we can now complete a full groom without being bitten, something that once felt impossible.
Walks used to be incredibly stressful and, honestly, quite embarrassing. We relied heavily on treats just to cope. Natalie showed us how to properly support our dog, and now we can walk calmly, without reactions, with a dog that feels safe and secure.
Natalie isn’t just amazing with dogs, she’s incredible with people too. I sometimes struggle to understand certain techniques, but whenever I said this, she would happily explain things in different ways until it clicked. She is welcoming, patient, and completely non judgemental, there is only ever support and encouragement.
She’s always available when you need advice, and her website is an amazing resource. I had a foster dog (now rehomed) who had issues with just about everything outside and was reactive - in my home she was perfect! Natalie was able to assess her and was very supportive with lots of good advice to enable me to help her prior to her being rehomed. recommendsHaving never used the services of a dog behaviour consultant I wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried,... Natalie explained the process in great detail and passion in advance. Our initial consultation lasted around 3 hours where we worked on scent training techniques to help overcome anxiety in our new rescue Border Collie. recommendsI cannot thank Natalie enough for all the hard work she has put in with my reactive staffie cross. He has improved so... much that I even left him with a friend for the past week whilst I went away, something I would never have done previously, and he was a star for her on walks too!!! His behaviour towards other dogs has come on so much that he's not barking half as much as he was, his anxieties have reduced that he's taking food as a treat when out and about and he is a much calmer and happier dog.
